After changing the battery of my car's remote control, it stopped working and they say I need to reprogram my remote control. I'm far from the city and there's no repair shop available. How do I do this?

Just changing the battery in the remote shouldn't result in any programming. What was the reason for the battery change? Did the fob stop working and you changed the battery? If so it's likely that the remote itself failed. If that is the case you will need to get 2 new remotes and an OE level scan tool that allows you to program them in. There is no way to do that without the scan tool. I'm not sure if FORScan covers that vehicle but if you have a windows computer that program and the correct dongle can do everything the OE tool does, if it covers the Transit.
