I will start with I have torn the interior of the back of this car apart. All is secure.

The rattle will not happen on large bumps, only smaller/sharper bumps. It does not sound metallic, rather plastic on plastic or plastic on metal. I have had my wife drive the car with the back seats down and myself in the rear to listen. It is definitely from the right side of the car in the wheel well area. I have replaced the shocks and new lower rear chassis control arms. All other suspension pieces look in good shape. I am wondering if this could be from an evap canister or fuel filler hose. I am not sure what is all in that wheel well area. An interesting thing I have noticed is that things need to warm up before the noise begins... Which I am not sure what I’m that part of the car would cause something like that, especially since heat makes things expand. Please assist if at all! Going crazy!

The evap canister is in the right-side rear wheel well. That could be moving around. The filter, if you have an external one, is mounted on the fuel tank.

Have you removed the inner fender liner to see if anything is loose at the canister?

Let me know. Also, see the pic below for canister identification.

Take care,

Joe
