It has been hard to start had to crank twice for awhile to start, but always started on second try. Then when you take off it would act like it sucking air or not getting fuel. It is not the fuel filter and now it will not start at all. Could the fuel pump act up for awhile before it goes completely out?

Short answer is yes, the fuel pump can act like this. So we need to start with this to find out if this is the issue. Here is a guide that will get us started:

Here is a guide that will help with a no start issue as well:

This could be an issue with the crank sensor as well. So when you are cranking the engine do you see the RPMs moving at all? This is a good indicator that the crank sensor is working.

I attached the process below for the crank sensor so if the fuel pressure is okay, I would suggest we change the sensor and retest.

Please run through this material and let us know if you have questions.

Thanks
