Sometimes my car starts up no problem really easy and sometimes it takes a long time. It was shutting off just randomly did you start back up like nothing wrong especially at an idle for a long time.

Hi,

This sounds like a failing fuel pump. Here are a few guides that give more detail on each of the possible causes. Read through these and see what seems to fit you issue the closest. Then let me know and we can go from there. We need to start eliminating possible causes so just let me know what sounds close and we can dig into that.

The fuel pumps already been changed, the fuel filters been changed, the mass air flow was changed. I adjusted the throttle position sensor. Changed map sensor, changed camshaft sensor. Crankshaft sensor haven't changed yet but I don't think it's malfunction even though the code says so. I've checked vacuum lines ECG, haven't checked the fuel pressure regulator yet. Haven't had the tool to check the fuel pressure, but I haven't seen any gas and it seems it would start leaking from that o-ring in the spider assembly I would see and smell it. I'm kind of stumped right now.

P0174 P0016 P0171 P0341 are the DTC, s I'm getting which led me to believe it was the mass airflow sensor sadly was not the culprit.

Okay. The P0171 and P0174 are lean codes saying that you have more oxygen in the exhaust then expected. Below is a guide going through the detail on this.

P0016 is a cam and crank misalignment code.

P0341 - is a cam sensor fault.

I would suggest running through the P0341 then the P0016 diagnostic because the lean exhaust could be a result of these.

I know you put a cam sensor in it but that is not the only cause of these codes. You will need to perform the tests that are detailed in order to find the cause. Unfortunately, if we don't we will just be guessing.
