Radiator fan motor not working?

OK Do this. Take 2 wires, Connect one to battery negative and one to battery positive. Now go to either fan. Touch the positive wire to pin 2 and the negative lead to pin 1 (this applies to both motors) Do the motors power up? If they are good they will spin. If they don't move, they are bad. Replace them. Now we can test the control side, but if the motors are bad testing farther is hampered by not having the correct load.
OK lets say that one fan spins but the other doesn't, that will prevent both from working.

Hello Steve,
Hello Steve, you where right about the kid being dropped by my use of the thin clip wires.

Repeated the two test lights test to positive battery and negative battery tested both motors the test light light turned on. The ground wires are find. The key off, the motors did not turn on no start.

Yeah, sounds like the motors fried. It happens. Replace them and then you at least know they should work.

Automotive electronics is a blend of cutting edge technology in some aspects and antique technology in others. At one time Ford had parts on their vehicles that had been used from the Model A up until the early 2000s! Same part just different part numbers because of supplier changes. Even then most of the electronics are considered "off the shelf" in that the designers and engineers want a part that does X and they look at what they already have and what is already out there on the market and if it can be adapted to the usage they need. They may package it a bit different to fit the new vehicle. Then they toss in items like the ADAS systems and now the person who was learning how the body module worked, needs to learn about radar, cameras, ultrasonic sensors and how those all work, plus they need the room now to set up the calibration areas for those items. Then add in hybrids and EVs and it can get confusing to keep everything straight. In those aspects medicine is a LOT easier. The human body has been pretty much unchanged for a long time, two basic models that just have minor changes but standardized parts lists!

Hello Steve,
Removed the fan shroud to the Suzuki grandvitara, to remove oxidized bolts was impossible to remove.
Opened both mother's, , sprayed clean, sand papered brushes anatuer and magnets brushes, examined all wire windings nothing broken cleaned all conductor plates and the main 4 contact brushes use on meter for contact joints but both motors together tested them with 12 volt bat each motored spined the low speed and the higher speed fan it worked.

Now I have to jb weld the plastic around the bolts before remounting the shroud.

I could not believe it Steve, the inside of motor had no rust just oxidation the begging signs of rust unseen.

Sounds like you are on the way to a repaired rig. Great.
It doesn't take a lot to cause a motor to seize up like that. Rust or minor dirt in the right area can shut them down.
