Problems with van starting

Van runs fine but then when we shut it off and try to restart it the van turns over but will not start. Hours later it will.

Good morning.

The first thing I would do is check the fuel pressure. There is an access point at the power steering pump area for a tool to check the pressure. You can rent a tester at a parts store and check the pressure especially when the van will not start. That will tell you if the fuel pump is working.
