I hate this car

I have a 96 pontaic sunfire 148657 miles Automatic transmission. Wells lets see. This car overheats every summer. Now my car was overheat found out that my top radaitor hose came off so I had someone put it back on. On the way home me car began to overheat againcheck the fluid everything was fine. I when out the next morning and my car wont start, and strangely my fluid un my radator smells like gas. And it will crank but not turn over. Head gasket?

It would not be surprising! If the system build enough pressure to blow the radiator hose off, more pressure than normal is occuring. Get a radiator pressure test and you will know! Make sure they test for the head gasket. This is done by starting the car with the gauge attached, and watching as the pressure build up!
