I replaced all 4 struts ( complete strut assembly) I have a sqeaky noise coming from the rear driver side strut (up and down movement) these are gas struts. What can I do to fix this, also will I need a 2 or 4 wheel alignment, my mechanic said since this axle on the rear is dependent, a 2 wheel alignment should be good, any and all suggestions I woud appreciate. Thanh you.

Your going to have to remove that strut again. There is likely something wrong with the installation. The rubber cushion in the saddle may be damaged or missing causing the spring to roll in the saddle.

As far as alignment, all cars now require at minimum a 4 wheel thrust alignment where the front wheels are referenced to the rear to get a straight steering wheel. It is possible to do a total 4 wheel on that vehicle also. They make full contact shims that go behind the knuckle to adjust it correctly.
