1996 Pontiac Sunfire stall

My car was stalling when coming to a stop after consistently driving on interstate for 15 to 30 minutes and also stalls when going into a turn on the streets. Now it is running rough, I have to keep it a 1500 rpms when at a light, to prevent stalling.

Test the idle air control valve/throttle position sensor and the EGR valve.

I took your advice, when I got to the intake the hose from the intake to the Map sensor had a hole in it.I replaced that first and it fixed the problem. Thanks. It was a total cost of.95 for 12 inches of hose.
