2008 Pontiac Grand Prix 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

At times, the dim lights in the car will go out. The bright lights will still work. When these lights go out, the marker lights do as well.

Remove and check each lamp and check connector for black soot indicating a short. Inspect wiring to it for frayed insulation. Next check fuse to see if it is properly seated, then relay for proper seating.

If OK, then switch is most likely the problem.
