2001 Pontiac Grand Prix Is it electrical?

On the way to work this morning the "trac off" indicator light came on and would not go off and the needle for the "RPM" started shaking and just stopped working.I did not notice any difference in the drive of the car but, I some how wonder is this an electrial problem because several weeks ago the interior lights would not work for about a day and then came back on and have been working fine ever since.

If you are not blowing any fuses, then it is an intermittent open circuit, these can be VERY difficult to find.

If you have access to chassis scanner, scan for any error codes ("C" codes). Repair to correct "C" code.
