2001 Pontiac Grand Prix trac off light on, stalls, won't st

My car stalls, cut off when I come to a stop. The trac off light comes on. The car then won't start for 5-10 minutes. I've had a tune up, new catalytic converter, thermostat, and modules. The service engine soon light is agiain coming on. What could be the problem with my car?

The traction control system will generate a "C" chassis code, sometimes a "B" body code.

Have codes read at trusted garage to isolate problem.

A traction control system will reduce engine power if wheel slippage is detected, if malfunctioning it will cause symptoms you describe.

While most autoparts stores will read codes for free, they can only read "P" powertrain codes.
