1998 Pontiac Grand Prix Engine

I just had my both my headgaskets fixed and the car has been running fine except smoke sometimes comes out the tail pipe and 3 weeks later the check engine light started blinking on and off but the car is still running the mechanic said its my spark plugs could this be true?

No, I think they botched the job, and it is they're responsibility to correct it, if they refuse or try to charge you more money, dont be intimidated by them, if you have to, you tell them you will contact the attorney general for your state, and the better business bureau.
