97 Grand Am stalls and wont start

Changed the water pump recently then had to reset the timing it ran fine but it made a loud noise under the hood unless the wheel was being turned right or left that got louder then one day it died going down the hwy and wont start. Timing AGAIN?Or could it be the ignition coil housing?The ignition module is fine PLEASE HELP! Im tired of driving my husband to work!

My grand am did that also, the car stalls with a shake and won't start. Go to the dealer to get the sensor pulled out and the car will work fine. The sensor is somewhere near the transmission.
