Hi guys, I have a 97 grand am 2.4 litre twin cam, the problem I have is my car starts just fine but stalls after just a couple of seconds, I tried the coil pks, the icm, new plugs, someone mentioned the MAF sensor but apparently this car don`t have one even tho its fuel injected, there seems to be lots of fuel pressure. Any ideas cause i`m stumped.I forgot to mention that when the car starts and shuts off I have to turn the key to the off position and try again, otherwise it will just turn over and over.

Hi gatekeeper, Welcome to 2carpros and TY for the donation

What you need to do here is check the fuel pressure with a gauge it should read 41-47psi if okay clean out the idle air control valve and passages thoroughly further also clean out the EGR valve and Test the TPS and MAP sensors. MAF sensor goes to a 3.1L yours is 2.4
