2000 Pontiac Grand Am turn signals

Why does it sound like my turn signals are on but they are not. The noise is erratic not the regular sound but they work fine

Have you gotten this fixed yet? My friends 2001 Alero is doing the same thing, I researched it and turns out GM had a recall for a bad hazard/turn signal switch, something about the soldering in the connections is faulty and can cause it to not function properly. I'm guessing you're having the same issues. So maybe look into a new turn signal switch or relay.
