Are you saying the cranking rpms are good when the vehicle is cold and slow with the vehicle hot?

Are all the battery cables/wires clean and tight on both ends? You may need to do a voltage drop test on the battery cables, cold and hot.

There may be an engine mechanical condition, making the engine hard to turn when hot? Can you tell a difference in the amp draw?
