1997 Pontiac Grand Am heater core

I have removed the screws from the under heater core cover.
But the plastic panel will not come loose from the fire wall. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Chuck

Chuck look real close at the firewall, pull back the carpet if you have to. You might have missed a screw. Then the panel should come right off. You have to pull straight down, there is a lip at the firewall side that you have to get over.
