1996 Pontiac Grand Am engine lite and ets lite

I have a grand am I replaces the spark plugs and wires but the engine lite stiill goes on ! I resetted it ! I had a mechine put on it to find the code it comes up with a miss fire on the 4th cycler ! Could it be a bad injector or a bad coil pack?

Pull plug, attach to wire and ground to block, crank engine, look for blue snapping spark.

I had this same problem with my grand am same year same engine. The mechanic told me there was a very small leak in the gas line and air was getting into the line. Said there was nothing to worry about unless the car dramatically decreases performance.
