Yesterday was driving my car hit a bump, then the Trac off light came on. Then shortly the service engine light came on. This morning when started the car the Trac off light was off. But the service engine was still on. While driving to work hit a bump again then the trac off light came back on. How do I get these lights to go off. I tried turning the key back and forth without starting the car about 6 times. That didn't help to reset the computer to turn the light off. What should I do?

Stop running over bumps if you can. I also have a '99 GA GT, the trac off light always comes on, it is one of the most common problems for grand ams. The taction control and ABS are wired to the same harnes behind the brakes in the front. Check to see if they are lose, a wire maybe broken/corroded, it maybe worth replacing them. Unfortunately its costly.
The service engine light will stay on until its fixed.
