I just bought a pontia grand am and on my way home the car just died. Lost power. When I bought the car he said it had a bad battery we had to jump it to start it and said it needed a new radaitor that it had a pin hole in it. The oil is full amd smells good and the coolant was full when I left, the car was smoking but I think that was from the coolant leak, but I dont know what would cause the car to just lose power it was running fine until that happend. Got any anwsers?

If antifreeze sprayed out of a pin-hole crack in the radiator and got on anything electrical, then that would be a good place to start.

Antifreeze carries electricity really well and can ground out sensors, spark plugs and all sorts of wires.
