95 bonneville SSEI 3800 supercharged will not start sometimes ( more often than not) this happens when engine is cold. Checked fuel presure 40lbs. When it starts or doesnt. Has 3 new coils and tune up. Checked for spark and has none when not starting. Before this issue started I noticed while driving highway speeds that the engine lost power for a breif second and then back to normal. This has happened many times, not sure if related.

Very common is the crank sensor but is usually will act up hot. Cold no spark concerns leads me toward a defective ignition coil, try using a ohm meter across the terminals of the coil towers and see if one coil is out of range of the rest of them

Change the crankshaft position sensor. Make sure the coils are properly grounded and check the electrical connections to the coils for frayed wires or insulation gaps.

That you for you input, I will check them in morning, What about the ignition mod. Under the coils is that a possibility? And can it be tested? Ty.

Ignition module is another possibility. Check with local auto parts store to see if they have the equipment to check them. Usually they fail hot, not cold, but it is possible.
