Top coil of three has no spark

A couple of months ago I changed the coil out and it seemed to be working for a say or so. I also changed the plugs at the same time. I tried to change the coil out today and the results were still no spark to the top coil, the bottom two do have spark. I made sure all plug wires and coil wire and connections were clean and snugly in place, still no spark to the top coil.

Module most likely has failed. Have it checked to confirm. You can remove it and have a parts store check it for you.

No, I said the module. That is the piece under the coil that it bolts to.

This car will crank but not start. No spark No fuel pump No injector fire test light. Check eng. Light comes on when turn the key so ecm is getting power. Power seats move, all fuses are good.

Would you hang a ECM on it? WHERE IS THE ECM IN HIS CAR?

But if the Crank Sensor was bad. Would it keep the fuel pump from firing up?

Yes. When I 1st turn the key on. The Check Eng. Light comes on thinking the pcm has power to it Nothing flashes. No Security Light and I tried another key w/chip that we had for the car also. I already took off the Ignition Module and had it checked and it looked good even after I heated it up testing it a dozen times. AND NO THE FUEL PUMP DOES NOT FIRE UP AT ALL. No Fuel. No Spark

No codes that I know of. My son was driving the car when it died. He never siad anything about any lights etc. Etc. No Codes That I know Of. I don't have any way to check and read the code here myself anyway. But I understand why you ask.

Any ideal about it? WOULDN'T THE FUEL PUMP FIRE UP IF THE CRANK SENSOR WAS BAD? I can hang a crank sensor on it to try. But I'm thinking even if the sensor was ban the fuel pump would run. I'm not getting fire to the injectors or spark at plug wires.

Are u sure u have no spark?
When 1st key on the fuel pump should come on (good or bad crank sensor )
I hate for u to replace the PCM come to find out its some thing else
do every test possible because once u buy the PCM you own it.
Check if you have power getting to the fuel pump
and also check the relays
when cranking does check engine light go out or it stay on
checking for codes will help

No spark at more than one plug wire. No injector pulse with test light. No Fuel Pump running when key turned on. Another key used/Ing. Mod. Tested good also. The ground wires must be ok power seat-windows work still. If crank sensor was bad I'd hang another one asap, but with the fuel pump not running I'm not sure it is?

Thinking maybe a PCM. Maybe BCM?

With your vehicle, during cranking, it is ignition module that controls spark. Check for primary voltage at the ignition module, key on, Pink wire is voltage, black is ground. During engine cranking, do you have injector pulse? Another possibility is the crank sensor.

Some of the national brand autostores might be able to check your ignition module? You can call and ask?

You need fuel pressure, 45-50 lbs, spark and compression. What is the compression?
