Electrical problem
1997 Plymouth Voyager 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

I am having problems with my left turn signal not working. It used to work when the hazards were activated, but have stopped all together. It does not work with the hazard lights {the other 3 lights do!}, The reverse, side lights and brake lights all work in the unit.
I recently replaced the light unit, and the column switch control, but this has not helped. I am currently in the process of checking that the connections are sound, and using a digital multi-meter, checking the cabling is true and unbroken.

Other than this, do you please have any suggestions?

regards

Hello, is that a combination flasher and you replaced it? There is a dark green wire with red tracer carries the signal from the flasher to the left rear turn signal. If you can test that circuit close to the flasher, key on, left turn activated, it might tell you if the problem is before or after the test point. I would think the problem is before the test point, but you never know?

The items replaced were the light unit at the rear and the switch controller on the steering column includes hazard switch, wipers, main beam etc.

Shall try the 'flasher unit', and trace the wiring. Just confused why it's just the indicator and not the whole lighting that's not working. Guess i'll need to test each solenoid to ensure they're ok ALL the fuses are fine

thanks for your reply.
