My van has gas in it (or at least the guage says so) it was running great until it sat for about 4 days and when I tried to start it, it would start and immediately act as if it was out of gas. Happens the same way every time I try to start it now. I've changed the fuel filter but nothing changed. Would this be a fuel pump or pressure regulator issue?

Are you sure it's a fuel issue? Can you check fuel pressure?

You should be able to check for codes by cycling the ignition switch. You turn the key till the dash lites come on, no further. Cycle the key on--off, on--off, on, then the cel starts flashing, you count the flashes to get the codes.

Did you check for spark at the plugs with the vehicle cranking?
