Engine Mechanical problem
1996 Plymouth Breeze 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual

What causes the engine to die just prior to stopping or when I decellerate and push in the clutch. It will not idle until the engine temperature rises. Idle rpms are at 750, it seems to be heat sensative because it does not die in summertime temperatures. The thermostat has been changed. Thanks

If its more temp related check/replace the ECT(engine coolant temp) sensor near the tstat housing. The IAC(idle air control) can do the same thing, but will do it hot or cold...
