Not overheating though. Checked coolant it was very low, so I added to the radiator line and to the reservoir- made sure there were no air bubbles. When driving my love data shows the temperature at 226-230 highest 233.6 while parked but will drop back down to 230 until driving again. I have to drive 5 hours from Maryland to Ohio to bury my mother. Please tell me what to do to get there safely.

I am sorry to hear about your mother. Yep, the engine is running too hot, can you hear the radiator cooling fan come on? Also, when the engine is cold remove the radiator cap to check the coolant level again while looking for a coolant leak under the car. If the coolant is good and you can hear the fan running, I would install a new radiator and thermostat. You might want to check for a blown head gasket as well. This guide can help:

Fans come on yes. Resivour full and there is coolant in the radiator. No leaks engine is completely dry, as it the ground. No smoking or anything that I know of atleast to pin point head gasket. But I did t a full scan today and these are the codes. Never had any tranny codes, don’t know exactly what I’m looking at here?

So the P0447 code is for the EVAP system, the others are transmission codes. So the engine does not boil over correct? If not the it could be okay though the temperature is a little bit o the high side but still expectable of the engine does not boil over. The CAN issue can be a blown fuse or one of the modules is having an issue. I would use a CAN scanner to see if it tells you which module is not working. Please go over this video.

Let us know how it goes

Here’s the readings from the CAN Scanner. Which direction do I go? And I do want to note I have not experienced any drivability issues other then the slight overheating & coolant temperature readings that Initially sent you.

So the transmission and HVAC systems work okay? Because the scanner says the modules are offline?

Would you mind breaking this down to me in laymen’s terms? I’m not super mechanically inclined. I know a little but I promise that’s not much. I’m not sure what exactly you mean, and where I begin to start repairs to fix these issues, that seemed to have happen all of a sudden literally

No problem, so you see the codes:U0164 and U0101? These codes mean the transmission and HVAC systems are not working. Did you have the key on when you were doing the scan? If so I would start by check the fuses and see if they have power. Have all system on when doing the test. Here is a guide to help.

You might wat to try clearing the codes as well to see if they come back.

Alright. Could you tell me exactly which fuses to have checked? I do believe he had my car running when he checked but I am not sure all the same. And are we looking for simply blown fuses or to see if power is getting to the fuses?

You are looking for power and to see if the fuse is good, here are the fuses you need to check. It sounds like you have an IPDM going out. Please check fuse # 34 in the IPDM under the hood. I bad IPDM would explain all of the problems yo are having.
