My truck seems to run terrible but runs better when it's cold. Acts like it's not getting gas. Had the fuel line pressure they told me it was good. Changed fuel filter and spark plugs. 2 o2 sensors and Mass air flow sensor and EGR valve.

I'm just curious what you think it could be? If I could I would pick it up and throw it as far as could.

Hi:

Has anyone checked the engine coolant temperature sensor (ECT)? This sensor tells the computer how rich or lean to make the fuel mixture based on temperature.

Using a live data scanner, see what the ECT indicates and if it seem correct.

I attached a picture of sensor location. Check to make sure there are no issues with the connector or wiring.

Let me know what you find.

Joe

Hi:

You didn't mention the ECT. I rechecked. And, yes it can cause this problem. Reconfirm that it was replaced.

I would recommend using a live data scanner to determine if the ECT is sending the information correctly. I don't want you to purchase a part for no reason.

Let me know if it helps with the driveability issues.
