Hello again, here is a new one: I pulled instrument cluster out to look for the hidden gremlin only thing I found was on the plug that goes into instrument cluster one of the wires has been cut and spliced into another. I did a little research and found that if the radio and windows working you can cut this wire and splice into one that it is spliced to and will again have power to radio and window and they now have constant power. Could this be where my power is coming from?

Hi,

It is very possible. What color are the wires that have been spliced?

Let me know.

Wire colors are pin #1green and yellow is cut and spliced into pin #19 black and purple wire. Now the overdrive light flashes and my 4-wheel drive low range light is on but not in 4x4.

Hi,

Pin 1 is green and yellow for the battery saver. Pin 19 should be dark blue for the horn relay. See attached.

Let me know.

So, I just got a chance to pull the lights that are not shutting off. I forgot to pull the headlight switch so first one I pull left front marker light, they shut off and now work correctly again. Please send holy water or good booze because this thing is going to drive me nuts. What do I need to do to fix it?

Hi,

Honestly, holy water isn't a bad idea. LOL

As far as the LED, did someone rewire a new socket for them? If you install incandescent lights, does it make a difference?

Alex, you are very welcome. I wish I had been there because it makes it easier for me.

Since the lights worked normally when you removed one bulb, check that light socket and determine which wire is supplying power when the lights are off.

Let me know.

Well, that was short lived maybe half hour and I looked outside and lights where on so I pulled fuse when I got up this morning I had a wild hair and swapped out VSM that I had tried when this first started, but today it worked lights went off I switched them on off 2365 times and seems to be normal. So, on to the next issue if you are up to it.

Alex,

Yep, I'll be here forever. LOL I thought you were in a car accident and the truck was being replaced. It sounds like you still have it.

Let's try this again. Let me know which front doesn't work and if you already tried removing fuses to see if they would turn off.

Let me know.
