Hi, I have a van diesel and while I am driving the front panel goes off completely (millimeter is off). Windows do not open, air condition, radio, lights are okay. After I switch off the car and on again is okay. It happens rarely. Can anyone have any idea? Thanks.

This sounds like you have a relay or controller that is going out. But it could be something as simple as a loose fuse. I would do the wiggle test on all of the fuses to see if you can get it to act up.

Here is a guide to help you get started:

Please let us know what happens.

Dear Ken,

Thanks for the reply. I checked with my electrician and he said that he checked fuses and they seem okay. Something that I forgot is that when this happens the steering wheel becomes heavy (you know when I try to turn). My electrician said that there is a controller below the wheel that maybe the problem. He order it and I am planning to change it today afternoon (I will get a picture of it and send it to you), of course today this morning I drove to my work (about forty minutes) and no problem occurred. Thanks

The battery seems to be ok. I checked also and it was replaced 08/01/2015 (S5008 Bosch). I finally did not change anything and for second day in the row I came to work with no problem. Maybe was indeed a loose fuse. I dont know. I called official Opel office, I asked 3 electricians and nobody can give me straight answer. We will see how it goes the next days if it happens again. I will update you. Thanks.
