Hello, I already replace the throttle body. Is that side associated with the accelerator pedal sensor?
Do you
have the same problem?

Good afternoon,

This could be either a wiring issue or yes, it could be the pedal sensor.

You should have a scan tool that will be able to read live data to see if the correct signal are coming from the pedal sensor to the throttle body motor.

I attached the connector diagrams for you of the pedal and the throttle body. Make sure there is 5 volt reference at both sensors.

DTC P0220

CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
The throttle body assembly contains the following components:
The throttle blade
The throttle actuator motor
The throttle position (TP) sensor 1 and 2
The throttle actuator control (TAC) module

The TAC system monitors the throttle position with 2 sensors. If the powertrain control module (PCM) receives a message from the TAC module that indicates TP sensor 2 voltage is outside a predetermined range, DTC P0220 will set.

CONDITIONS FOR RUNNING THE DTC
DTCs P0606, P1518, P2108 are not set.
The ignition switch is in the crank or the run position.
The ignition voltage is more than 5.23 volts.
The communications between the TAC module and the PCM must be valid.

CONDITIONS FOR SETTING THE DTC
The TP sensor 2 voltage is less than 0.282 volts or more than 4.6 volts.

OR

The PCM learns a minimum throttle position of more than 0.813 volts.

OR

The TP sensor reference voltage is less than 0.5 volts.

ACTION TAKEN WHEN THE DTC SETS
The control module illuminates the malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) when the diagnostic runs and fails.
The control module records the operating conditions at the time the diagnostic fails. The control module stores this information in the Freeze Frame and/or the Failure Records.
The control module commands the TAC system to operate in the Reduced Engine Power mode.

OR

Under certain conditions the control module commands the engine OFF.
The message center displays Reduced Engine Power.

CONDITIONS FOR CLEARING THE MIL/DTC
The control module turns OFF the malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) after 3 consecutive ignition cycles that the diagnostic runs and does not fail.
A current DTC, Last Test Failed, clears when the diagnostic runs and passes.
A history DTC clears after 40 consecutive warm-up cycles, if no failures are reported by this or any other emission related diagnostic.
Clear the MIL and the DTC with a scan tool.

Hello, I'm Danny.

That code is just associated with the throttle body. Here are two tutorials showing how it works and how to service:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-a-throttle-body-works

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/throttle-actuator-service

I've attached picture steps below on how to diagnose that code for your car.Hope this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros.
