Overheating, will turn over but will not start

I drove about three miles parked my SUV, it sat for four minutes and I tried to start it and got no ignition. It turned over but would not start. Hose from thermostat housing from motor to radiator was mega hot while overflow water tank was cold. I towed it home and it still would not start, it will turn over but no ignition. It is like it is not getting any fuel. What can do?

Okay, before we tackle the overheating issue, let me ask you, is there any security or theft light remaining on or flashing? Can you hear the fuel pump run for two seconds once you first turn the key to run, before you turn the key to start?
