Over heating while stopped and no hot air from heater.

When you have a misfire and combine that with over heating and coolant lose always make it 1st to check the head gasket

When I start my car the heat doesnt work unless I reach above 2500 + rpm then it will work if I set and idle for a minute or so it stops working again

i changed thermostat and flushed the system and drained the air as iit states in the manual

1998 Nissan Sentra 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

My heat does not work on levels 1, 2, or 3 but on 4 it blows air but doesn't get hot, it does get warm through.

Replace your blower motor resistor.

Check your antifreeze level. Make sure it is full, and at the right strength.

Heater problem
2002 Nissan Sentra 4 cyl Manual 73,000 miles

My heater gets hot only when the car is moving. When I slow down or stop the heater goes cold. What is the problem?

This is most commonly caused by a partially clogged radiator. Need to have cooling system / radiator flushed and refilled.
