Hello -

With 195K it could be several things....... It could be your radiator is plugging and your water pump is not pumping through..... It may be a thermostat.

What type of coolant do you use?

When you say coolant level has been slightly elevated around 200, are you talking about the temp of the car is slightly elevated to about 200 degrees?

What is the coolant level is it low?

When you are sitting at idle and race the engine, then does the temp go down and the heater blow hot?

Is there any sign that your water pump is leaking at all... Do you know where to look etc?

Please answer the above and we can take it from there.
