When I drive a long distance or just for a long time, my car would start overheating and then shutts off completly while I am driving. I take it to the mechanic and they all say they don't know what's wrong with it. Sometimes it shotts off and overheats if I just drive a short distance when it's hot or when in traffic. I recently changed the engine coolant and fixed a radiator hose, so there is no leaks and I got the right engine coolant. Please help me!

Are you sure there was no leak? I have 2002 Alero V6 and it was leaking coolant due to the lower intake manifold and it had to be replaced. Apparently it is very common issue but not sure if it applies to your year.
