I noticed oil on the area around where the number three and number four spark plugs install into the engine when I was changing them. The firing tips did not show any sign that the oil came from the combustion chamber. It seems that the oil is leaking onto that area from somewhere else. What could the problem be? Thank you.

Possibly some part of the valve cover gasket is leaking oil down onto the wires, it looks like from a picture those wires go down into the middle of the valve cover, and there are o-rings that seal each of the spark plug holes under the valve cover. Get a gasket kit for the valve cover, it will come with the four o-rings as well.
