2001 Acura Integra bogging

Hey guys I need help my car is bogging out! It bog's up and down sounds like a weed wacker when im driving. Changed out spark plugs still same thing. I was looking into my distruibuting cap and there is sparking going on for pistion 3 wire only. Is there suppose to be sparks in the distrubutor cap? Is it the cap I need to replace or the wires?

Hi Lor87,

I would suspect the cable. Do a resistance test with an ohmmeter. Reading should be less than 25 k ohms and more than 5 k ohm.

Easiest way is to swap wire and do test. If not the wire, you need to check the cap and rotor.
