I believe it's an oil pressure light, and it started to light under acceleration, now it seems to come on also at idle.

Oil is fresh and full.

Is there a way to test the oil pressure on this vehicle?

Thanks in advance.

Hello,

As you suspected this could be due to a bad oil pressure sensor or having low oil pressure.

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/high-or-low-engine-oil-pressure

In order to test the oil pressure, you will first have to remove the oil pressure sending unit and install an oil pressure test gauge.
After the engine reaches operating temperature or after 10 minutes, the pressure should be at 11 PSI with the engine at 1,500 RPMs.

I have attached the oil pressure sending unit location as well as the pressure test procedure below.

Let me know of any questions.
Thank you.
