Good afternoon,

This sounds like the power steering pump may be leaking.

I would clean the area of all oil and run it for a day to confirm.

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Turn air suspension service switch OFF in luggage compartment.
3. Remove radiator upper sight shield.
4. Remove accessory drive belt. See Engine.
5. Evacuate air conditioning system. See Heating and Air Conditioning.
6. Raise vehicle on hoist.
7. Remove five push pins and three screws retaining lower radiator air deflector. Remove radiator air deflector.
8. Position drain pan and remove power steering return hose from combination power steering and transmission fluid cooler. Drain power steering system.
9. After system has drained, install power steering return hose to combination power steering and transmission fluid cooler.
10. Remove A/C manifold and tube and A/C compressor.
11. Disconnect power steering pressure hose and power steering reservoir pump hose from power steering pump.
12. Remove four bolts retaining power steering pump to engine.
13. Remove power steering pump from vehicle.
14. Remove power steering pump pulley from power steering pump shaft using Steering Pump Pulley Remover T69L-10300-B.

INSTALLATION

NOTE: The small diameter threads of Power Steering Pump Pulley Replacer T91P-3A733-A must be fully engaged in power steering pump shaft before pressing on power steering pump pulley.

1. Install power steering pump pulley to power steering pump shaft using Power Steering Pump Pulley Replacer T91P-3A733-A. Install face of power steering pump pulley flush to power steering pump shaft to within ±0.25 mm ( ±0.010 inch).
2. Place power steering pump to mounting bosses of engine block and install four retaining bolts. Tighten bolts alternately to 20-30 Nm (15-22 ft. lbs.).
3. Install power steering pressure hose to the power steering pump. Tighten tube nut with a flare nut crows foot wrench. Use care not to damage power steering pump pulley. Tighten tube nut to 41-54 Nm (31-39 ft. lbs.). Swivel or end play of the power steering pressure hose tube end is normal and does not indicate a loose fitting.
4. Install power steering reservoir pump hose to power steering pump. Reposition power steering return line clamp.
5. Install A/C compressor and A/C manifold and tube. Install five push pins and three screws retaining lower radiator air deflector.
6. Lower vehicle.
7. Install accessory drive belt.
8. Install radiator upper sight shield.
9. Connect battery ground cable.
10. Recharge air conditioning system.
11. Fill power steering pump reservoir with Motorcraft MERCON Multi-Purpose (ATF) Transmission Fluid XT-2-QDX or equivalent.
12. Turn on air suspension service switch in luggage compartment.
13. Use Start-Up Procedure After Power Steering Pump or Gear Service. See: Power Steering Fluid > Procedures
14. Start engine and check system for leaks.
15. Turn ignition switch OFF and recheck power steering fluid level. Add fluid as necessary.
