Oil leak between the oil pan and the main seal

Only when the car is running leaking oil pretty bad. It looks like it is leaking between the oil pan in the main seal. Pretty bad oil leak.

If it is the rear main the only solution is to split the engine/transmission apart and replace the seal. But it is possible that the leak is above the seal and just showing up there. Clean the engine and search for an easier leak first.
