I was flushing out my coolant system after many water flushes I revved the engine up to 3,000 RPM's and when I looked under the car there was a sizable puddle of oil. It appears to be coming from the top from the drivers along where the engine and transmission mate. I am hoping it is a loose hose but I fear it could be a gasket.

Good evening,

From that area, it could be either the intake manifold or the valve cover gasket.

The oil pressure switch is also back there as well.

Get a bright LED light and look over the back of the top of the motor for the leak.

Would the oil pressure switch or intake manifold or valve cover produce such a large amount of oil in that b10 second period?

For a ten second period, I would think the pressure switch.

And would continuously leak also? My oil pressure has been different also since the leak. I will take the bright lights to that area tomorrow and notify you of my findings. Thank you

Well I do believe from my amateur inspection that the primary leak is the oil pressure switch. I have the shop manual and supplemental coming in also. Another seepage leak is coming from the front of the intake manifold someone did a horrible gasket job on it. Thanks Roy for the input and if and when other questions arise I will be back here.
