Oil in coolant reservoir

Hi, took my wife to work with my mk5 tdi 2.0 when got home after some time wanted go to the store. I saw oil on the floor on the right side. I jacked up my car looking for oil leaking did not find anything, but when I open my coolant reservoir bottle I saw oil in the reservoir. I then looked at the dip stick there was a little oil on it but water and oil did not mix. Took off the oil cap and the was no milky mixture on oil cap. Please advice me what to do next. Thank you

Hello,

Well, there are a couple of different ways to check to see if your head gasket is blown. The first way is to do ahead gasket test. Here is a link below explaining how to do this:

The other test that can be helpful when suspecting a blown head gasket would be to do a compression test. Here is a link below explaining how to do that:
