Car is showing hold light and it is not starting

The battery light is not showing but it roll very well if I try to start it, but not starting.

Can I ask if the engine is cranking over (starter working) or is the engine not cranking over? Here are guides to help us in either case:

Is the security light flashing? we should check the battery as well.
