Van was working flawlessly - and suddenly died w/o warning. I changed the alternator. Then it died again. I bought a new battery - ran great for one day and died. Recharged the battery - ran fine and then died. Fuses all looked good. Could there be a relay switch that needs to be changed?
A friend had a meter to check things with - nothing was showing up.

What did he check?Did he see what the battery voltage was at idle at the battery cables? If so what was the reding? Also did he check and make sure all the power feeds into the alternator from the battery were good?

Not sure - I was inside trying to start/crank the engine. This all took place 4 days priior to me moving from Hawaii back to Alabama -I ended up leaving the van there for him to repair/sell.

So are you trying to help them fix it?Do they have a multimeter?
