After replacing the serpentine belt, I started my car, and it appears on dashboard that the car is in all gears P R N D and 8. I don’t know what 8 is, I have never seen it before. It will not shift out of Park. It does have the option to manually shift but it will not. I have removed the panel and pushed in flap while braking and it will then release from Park but on dashboard it shows still in all gears and it will only go up to 35 miles and it drives hard. Please help someone!

It sounds like the gear range sensor may be going bad or the fuse # 37 in the fuse panel in the trunk is blown. If the fuse is good, we should run the codes these guides will help:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-check-a-car-fuse

and

I have included the gear range sensor location and how to change it out also I found the shift lock wiring diagrams so you can see how the system works. Check the diagrams below and please get back to me.
