Not accelerating

If I start the car it will be slowing but the acceleration is not responding.

This should be a throttle cable type not drive by wire. So remove the rubber hose at the inlet manifold on the throttle body and watch the throttle plate, it should move with the pedal being pressed, is it doing this? I am having trouble accessing our technical data base, so if you need more assistance with tech information I may have a small delay.
