No spark no start

I replaced head gaskets and cam sensor. After that engine would only turn on if I pressed the gas, but would turn off when I let off the gas. Then it would not turn on at all, so I replaced the crank sensor and the ignition module as the car is going out of town and I do not want them to have problems with that later. But again no start no spark, plugs are new.

What was the reason for the head gasket replacement? From the description it sounds like it may need a relearn procedure, a way around that is to remove both battery cables, then short them together to drain the KAM in the ECM. Re-connect and see if it starts. The other issue could be that the security in the ECM has shut it down. For that you need a scan tool to see if it has tripped the immobilizer.

Steve first let me give my thanks for the response. The gaskets were replaced because the plugs were anti-freeze fouled, constantly adding coolant and the engine got a really bay shake to it with a random misfire code. I had shorted the battery cables and also did a relearn procedure but still no go. But I found the problems, first the crank sensor harness had lost it's insulation and was causing a short to the ignition module, thus the no spark no start. Then the throttle body gasket was not correctly made as the passage for the idle air valve was blocked off, that's why I had to give it gas before it would fire up, I cut an opening in the gasket and all worked fine, problem solved, but who would have thought? Now how do I close this question.

Great that you found the problem. The gasket was probably made for a different version and they stuck it in the wrong package. Lot's of issues with new parts these days. At least you got a new gasket, I've gotten used cores shipped to me as "new" parts. Don't need to close the question it gets archived on the site.

My impala HAS NO SPARK, CHANGED OUT THE COIL PACK MODUEL STILL NOT WORKING, CHECKED OUT AC-DC WIRES WITH A MULTIMETER ONE SHOWS A READING BUT THE OTHER DONT, I BELEAVE IT WAS THE DC THAT SAID IT HAD NO GROUND. THIS IS HOW IT WENT, I STUCK THE BLACK PROB INTO THE GRAY WIRE SLOT AND WITH THE RED PROBE ON THE NEGITIVE SIDE OF THE BATTERY AND GOT NO READING BUT WITH THE OPPISITE WIRE GOT A READING. WHAT TO DO?

No snapping blue spark continue to troubleshoot the ignition system-power input to the coil/coil packs, coil's resistances, distributor pick-up coil, ignition control module, cam and crank sensors and computer Note: If it doesn't apply disregard it

Change crankshaft sensors both of them purge valve and still no fire it cranks but it will not crank over

Check fuel pressure and see if there is any spark.

Purge valve has no effect on starting
