Did not pass smog test

No (PPM) failed. Measured 869 max was 537 and 930 max was 494. The fuel hoses going into fuel tank were leaking fuel. I didn't tighten them enough. Could that have helped fail me test?

It could have, but let's run through this guide because it is more likely that you have another engine issue. It points out a number of issues that would cause this failure. Basically you have too much hydrocarbons in the exhaust so this could be caused by a misfire or one of the other things mentioned.
