My heat only works sometimes, when I turn it on it sounds like it wants to come out but does not. It will sometimes turn on when I hit a hard bump. It really has a hard time coming on when it is super cold out.

Hello,

It sounds like you have a blower motor that has gone bad but the be sure lets run a simple test to see if the blower motor is getting power.

Here is a guide that will give you an idea on how to replace it and how to use a test light to check for power and ground:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/blower-fan-motor-works-on-high-speed-only';

Remove or disconnect.
Negative battery cable.
Electrical connections from blower motor.
Partially cut blower case cover as indicated on cover.
Cutting completely around cover is not required.
Caution: Cover thickness is approximately 2 mm (1/8 in.) . Make cut just through thickness of cover. Excessive depth of cut may damage cooling tube.

Here are the diagrams on how it will be in your car.

Check out the diagrams (below).

Please let us know what you find. We are interested to see what it is.

Cheers, Ken
