Its on the heater core hose, find them at the fire wall and follow it back towards the engine, you will see it tied into the line.

Heater problem
1998 Ford Expedition V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic

I recently changed the heater core in my suv and the heater still does not work, air seems to flow freely however the air is a mild warm temp. What could be wrong?
